Hi Everyone,

I wondered if someone could help. I did a new build about a year ago, everything has been fine until now. I've got a "GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard" and I'm running three hard drives:

1. Boot Drive - Samsung SSD 64 Gig 830
2. Working Drive - 80 gig hard drive
3. Storage Drive - Western Digital 3TB Caviar Green Hard Drive

The Samsung and 3TB drives are both connected via SATA 3 cables to the SATA 3 ports on the motherboard. The 80G drive is connected to a SATA 2 port.

About a few weeks ago I noticed that the Western Digital 3TB drive is performing very slow, for example when transferring to or from one of the other drives. Also when playing a video file that is located on that drive the video stutters all the time - but it plays file if the files are moving to another drive.

There has been no hardware changes since I built this machine. I'm not aware that the problem commenced after changing any software settings. The drive is defragged often.

I've ran HD tune, no errors or bad sectors and I've attached the graph. Not sure what this means?

I've also tried switching the drive onto the SATA 2 port and it's still the same problem. Any ideas? Software problem? Motherboard problem? Drive problem?

Thanks in advance.
