First time build, looking to see if i can cut the cost of any parts ive selected, i prefer it to still be an i5 haswell, im up for any suggestions. is this also good enough to play fps games in high settings?

Can you explain how this build is better? all i see is you swapped the videocard and popped in a higher psu? is there something wrong with the videocard i chose? thx in advance

The 7870 GHz is better than the 650 Ti that you chose. And it is cheaper at the moment, so you should get it. The 500w power supply just leaves more room for upgrades in the future. You don't have to get that if you don't want to. Hope this helps!
