1920x1080 resolution does not show in games anymore.

Hey i am So confused right now..I had Windows 7 on my PC and it was working perfectly, then i decided to upgrade to windows 8.1. Now once i upgraded everything was fine, until i tried playing any of my games. When in game i can not pick 1920x1080 resolution at all in any game. All i can play on is 1680x1050 (No 1080) It worked fine on windows 7.

I have a 1080p monitor and using a DVI cable connected.

System specs

i5 3570
8gb ram
GTX 670 SLI 2gb
Windows 8.1.

I'm going insane right now so can anyone pleaseee help me :(

Yeh i have done all those Nikolay. 90% games dont show 1080 reso. Think im gonna try a format tomorrow. Nobody seem to have this problem, just dont get it.


UPDATE. Ok i got somewhere..sort of, I installed Farcry 3 as a tester and it worked in 1920x1080. This time the resolution actuly showed up in video settings. Then i thought to myself, Try running the game on dx9. Suddenly i couldnt play it on 1080 resolution. I cant play Dishonored/Shift 2 and Panzer in 1080 but Tomb raider/Batman Orgins/farcry 3 works. Swear its to do with dx9. Any help please?

I`m continue to think it`s up this NVIDIA SLI settings !
Release the SLI and try as single first to run 1080p
You GPU is DirectX 11.0 you must have zero problems running 1080p ....

What exacly is this WIn 8.1 - preview release - and was it Pro or Standart ?
You may try Pro version !
