I'm looking at getting a new graphics card as currently i get farely low FPS on games , and i would like to be able to run most (if not all) games i can on ultra.
I've done a lot of research and have decided to go for the GTX 770 2GB but i am not that great with computers, will this be bottlenecked at all and is this the right choice? My price range is up to around £350.
My Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
RAM: 14.0GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 534MHz (8-8-8-20)
Motherboard: Alienware 04VWF2
Graphics: 1792MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (NVIDIA)
Any help would be greatly appreciated :D Thanks

which case do you have? I'm pretty sure it will fit because the 260 is probably about the same size, also where did u get a 1.8gb gtx 260? (never heard of that)

Also i'm not sure how to find out whether i need to upgrade my power supply? Could you recommend a program or something that allows me to check whether i would need to please?

the name of the "program" is "take off the side of the case and look at the label" :ange: sorry don't mean to be a smart . . .

chances are its fine since the 770 ~165 watts @ stock, about the same as a 260. but if you start adding voltage to OC very much, that can rise up to ~200+ watts.

at stock for full system power:

a good 550 watt PSU can handle that.
