Hi,

I just replaced a bad Asus 27" VGH378HE with a new one and when now I can't get my outputs set up the same way I had before.

Previous set up with two GTX 670's
Asus 27" Main screan Via DVI on Card 1
Avermidia HD Capture card cloned from main screan Via DP on Card 1
AOC 27" Extended Via HDMI on Card 2

This work prefectly but after replacing the old Asus with the replacment anytime I connect the Avermidia capture card the AOC monitor is disabled and I am not able to get it to enable no matter what I do.

I feel like it has got to be setting related and I have been messing around with the Nvidia setting for about two hours with no luck.

Any suggestsion

For NVIDIA you need to go into the NVIDIA Control Panel (Right Click the Desktop, NVIDIA Control Panel) or where the clock is on the bottom right, the control panel should be there as well.

Next, click on Phsyx on the left hand menu. Its like the 4th menu item down..click on the check box and click Configure. (unsure of the spelling at the moment since my PC isnt in front of me).

This enables NVIDIA surround, it should be a check box and follow the prompts on your screen.

Let us know if you got it.

Thanks for the response Thyrax, although that was not the issue what I found after further investigation by removing the Avermedia card from the situation I noticed that I could not even change the resolution of the AOC monitor and that Nvidia control panel listed the output for the AOC as DVI instead of HDMI.. shortly after that the same thing happed to the Asus Monitor output not being able to adjust the resolution and then I could not even have two monitors display at the same time.

Long story short the solution (as it mostly is) I uninstalled the Graphics drivers and reinstalled them fresh which for now has fixed the issue.
