I got a gateway notebook and when I was setting I guess I wrote down the wrong information I was using because now I can't get into the thing. It does not have a disk drive so I can't use my other PC's back up and restore disk. I used a USB flash drive and made one but, even though I selected removable drive it keeps telling me that it is not the restore disk.
I then went into safe mode command prompt but all that does is run through the scroll screen and then right back to the password screen. I was trying to go around my account and use a guest admin account to change the password to my account. I have been at this off and on for 10 hours almost and I am at my wits end. Does anyone know how I can either get into my account, make another account to change the password on my account or factory restart it without logging into it? Please help
