Is it OK to have a 4GB Memory and a 2GB nvidia Card on a Windows 7 32bit System?

Hello.

I Have an Acer Aspire 4750G running at Windows 7 Home Basic 32-Bit and I have a 2GB DDR3 Memory and a 2GB nVidia GeForce GT 540M.

I am planning to have a 4GB DDR3 Memory [2x 2GB Dual Channel].

Can I Maximize this? Given my Specs above.

Yes it will likely only use 3.5gb but you'll be fine as long as what you buy is compatable
