Screen goes crazy, computer freezes.

Alright so about a week ago I started getting BSOD's related to my graphics drivers and have since fixed them by updating, but now I have a new issue this:

http://imageshack.us/f/4/oeyq.jpg/

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but it seems like a graphical crash.

memtest checks fine, cpu test checks fine, gpu test checks fine, yet this still happens. My temps on my pc are all around 45-60c which is a good 15-20c on all parts below overheating.

I'm not sure what this is, I can game fine, at full 60fps with not artifacts or any other issues, this just randomly happens, I could have the computer idling and it will happen, I could be browsing facebook and it happens, it doesn't seem to be triggered by anything, just randomly occurring throughout the day.

Edit: Event Viewer is only showing the standard kernel 41's due to the pc crashing, no bugcheckcode at all.

Thanks for reading, and of course any help or insight would be appreciated.

Ensure all your connections are plugged in snug. Disconnect then connect the plugs.

If that doesn't work, test your integrated GPU, and or test another GPU to rule out the GPU in question.

Lastly, if you have any other cables to rule out a cable issue. Let us know what happens!

I have re-seated and cleaned all of my hardware and redone all the cable connections it hasn't crashed since my post, but like I said its random.

More info: the issue seems to have started when I swapped out to my old G wireless adapter since my N adapter turns off randomly.

Odd thing is I ran windows update about an hour ago and it found an updated driver for this ancient adapter, and my signal levels have gone from 2 bars to a full 5.

Long story short: could old drivers for a wireless adapter have caused this issue? I guess I'll just have to see if it happens again.

Also like I said, there is no artifacting and my computer is running at full speed with no slowdowns, so this is weird.

Its random now, but that will become constant eventually.. something is obviously failing here. When you say at random, can you try wiggling your monitor cords, event the one connected to the GPU? Does any distortion occur? I know you said you redone the cables.. but you also did say at random.

Wireless signals come in chunks. Signal is only as strong as your distance from the source. Are you near a window? Are you in a basement, enclosed area maybe?

How frequent does it spike lets say in 1 minute?

I have shaken my case, and wiggled all my wires and it doesn't trigger the crash. I too am worried that this will become a constant issue, but I cannot do anything to replicate or trigger the problem to narrow down the source of it.

it hasn't happened since my original post yesterday, but again, its random it happens seemingly out of the blue and over large chunks of time.

I ran 3dmark for four hours prior to my original post and had no errors or heating problems, thats why I posted on here, because all of my stress tests came back with no errors or heating issues.

The issue hasn't happened since I ran windows update last night, I'm currently just waiting to see if it happens again or if it was a driver issue.

Well I am sure something as drastic as the image you've shown us will for sure without a doubt come more often, all it takes is time. Spare parts are essential for this type of troubleshooting. A spare monitor would be great if you can see the screen distortion once again.

If you can plug it into your TV, it could be a great test. I used my TV to test my graphics card one time to ensure it was functioning properly and of course it wasnt and needed to invest in a new GPU.

Let us know if this is possible.
