used the same wattage gold power supply just the newer unit with rebate. used the savings and got a better case with a window. went with the newer cpu and mb combo from micro center. used the 7970 ghz card. the 280x and the old card are the same card just re labled. used the savings there for the newer intel cpu.

bigger case will give your pc more air room also if it a first build you have more room in the case to work with. (if you want to sli or crossfire latter you have the extra room to do it.). the 97xx and the 280x are almost the same card.

the nvidia card now on that 670 is the 760 then the 770 gpu.

you be able to play any game you want with that set up. you dont need extra fans right now the cases have two fans to start if you want to you can.
