Hey guys, so I'm looking to pick up a card this week for my new build. Initially I was completely set on getting the 7950 from sapphire, but it went out of stock and never came back (it was $190) *tears*.

Now I'll have to settle for another card all while keeping an eye out for the stock of that item.
I've looked around and did some light comparisons of the 7870 OCed and 270X.
Here's the 270X (Gigabyte)
Here's the actual 7870 OC

There was a difference in core clock and effective memory clock between the two cards, and I'm not sure if the difference will be noticeable in terms of frames an such. Your expert input? Also, the twin frozr is being sold on amazon for ~$160 vs $200 for the 270X.

Planned build:
CPU - FX-6300
RAM - 8GB DDR3 1866
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+
PSU - XFX 550W ATX12V/EPS12V

Also: I want to keep it at ~$200 and less, nothing more. Edit: Derp, linked the wrong card! Here's the actual 7870 OC, for 160.

270x has DX 11.2 mantle and on sites it shows better than 7870 and lil worse than 7950. a 270 non x is pretty much as good as the 7870, im getting a 270x in a couple days and i have been doing research for weeks to see what im paying for and what performance i can get out of them, i have a 6300 and with the 270x you should be able to play almost all games at 1080p with good frame rates
