Which MOBO would you prefer and why?

I personally prefer the MSi Z87-G45 Gaming. Unless you're doing quad-SLI (which 90% of computer builders won't attempt), you don't need the Gigabyte board, and the MSi one is better for gaming.

It has 3 more PCI-E x1 slots for things eg. sound cards, wireless network cards, etc. and you don't need the PCI slot on the Gigabyte board. Also it has 8 channels of audio and a dedicated LAN chip. Not to mention its cheaper by $40.
