I'm down to the last two components of my build, and now I just need to purchase memory and storage. My budget is ~$800 (my build is here), but the focus of this build is to get the most for the money, not necessarily spend X amount of dollars. So if that means going a little over budget, so be it.
Also, regardless of the prices seen in my build, I have only spent $665 for everything (after MIR) except memory and storage, so I do have some room to maneuver.
Basically, I want to know what to look for when purchasing memory and storage for a gaming machine. What type of memory should I get? What about latency? Should I get an SSD? What are the advantages, and are they worth the money? Anything else that is important to consider when purchasing memory or storage?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
