I'm upgrading my rig. I've decided on 4770k and dual290x in crossfire to support 5760x1200 resolution over 3 monitors. I feel there's a lot of fluff in the motherboards I see. I'm not a big over clocker but would like to dabble in it at some point with this rig. I like the sound card on the formula vi, but I also like the sabretooth. I need some help with which will be best for crossfire especially. Thanks in advance.

I think that rather good option would be check out these and then try to figure out which features you need and make the decission based on that. They should all be good quality and not restrict you in future. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/z87-motherboard-review,3618.html Looking at your CPU+GPU choise I assume that price of those are not too high and you would be on the "safe" side. That said, I am pretty sure Sabertooth would serve you well also.

I guess you could go for Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H, it should give rather good bang for the buck. Of course this depends a lot of what features you need in your motherboard.

I really just want one good for Crossfire, with the ability to do some tweaking if i end up getting really into that. Like I said I'm pretty noob at overclocking, but I don't want to restrict myself to not be able to do it.

The Formula VI sound card looked pretty nice, and the wifi is a perk, I don't think I NEED any of those, but those additions aren't deal sealers or breakers for me. I'm not tough to please, but I'm tough to make a decision. I have buyers remorse. Hate losing out on a good deal, but also hate spending money for features I'll not really utilize.
