Hi - I am building a new machine with a brand new ASUS MB and processor. I am using an old case, a Lian Li that is about 4 yrs old. I have had grounding issues in the past (I dont think with this case) and wanted to make absolutely sure I do this correctly. My main concern here is shorting something out.
Obviously, the PSU wil be unplugged when I start. I am thinking of putting small rubber washers inbetween the standoff holes in the case and the MB. Thoughts on this? This maybe a silly question, but is there any reason I should NOT do this? Or should I just put the MB on the standoff holes, screw the standoffs in and dont worry about it?
Thanks.
