Okay so I found an image id like as my background but theres a problem, it doesnt fit my whole desktop, I tried opening it in paint and setting it to fill the desktop but then it misses half of it (very important half)

The image is 1280 x 1024 my resolution is 1600x900

If somebody could get it to fit 1600 x 900 or add another image onto it that would be great.

If there is an easier way to do this other than photoshop could somebody explain to me and help me understand?

Thanks.

Was gonna resize it for you, but refreshed the page... :(
A tiny but awesome program you can use to do that Irfanview, which you can download at http://filehippo.com/download_irfanview/download/e0c54c09aa9bd8f7a2f6ac1039ed47ee/
There's two ways to accomplish what you're trying to do:
1. You can change the scale of the image and stretch it to fit your 16:9 screen...in which case you get the full view, but looking weird
2. You can crop the photo 16:9 at full width with your preferred horizontal selection.
Cheers

Please don't post pics like that. Some of us scan through the forums while on break at work.

Just a description would have worked. "How do I resize 1280x1024 to 1600x900?"

Fine. Then just ask if someone can or will do it for you. But don't post semi-nude pics in here.
