Which should I get for Christmas Saphire 7870 or GTX 660 "NOT Ti"

with a 200 Limit I want the best Gaming performance I can possibly get I Need professional advice and I am really not being rude at all I just want an experienced Answer because that is a lot of cash my GF is about to dump and I cannot Go By Hardware specs alone I know 7870 is 256 bit and gtx 660 is not but I have heard so many different things which one is the bigger performer ? Thank's in advance

It's not that big of deal, mostly adds like floating particle effects(snow, etc.). If you've never seen it, you won't be missing out on anything.

660 has a tdp of 140W
7870 has a tdp of 170W
don't get fooled by the price because they are priced the same in the long run...7870 consumes so much power

however, ill pick 7870 cuz its slightly faster than 660...i don't care about physx because its not that special and only few games support it....

I'd avoid the GTX 660. Mine has glitches and splotches that won't go away.

base on my experience in tom's hardware,lots of people report more 7870 problems than 660...

They are both solid cards, chances of having hardware failure with each are very low. I would not factor that into your decision. Get whatever gives you more performance for your money.
