I'm building a new computer with a i5-4670K for gaming at 5760x1080 and programming. I was thinking of buying two 780s Superclocked on Black Friday or around New Years when prices go down but based on some articles I've read, Maxwell is going to be a huge improvement over Kepler so I'm not sure if I should wait. From what I've seen, Maxwell is going to be like Nehalem to Sandy Bridge instead of the usual 5-10% increase.

I know this isn't set in stone but these specs seem pretty accurate and it looks like the mid-range Maxwell parts based on the GM104 core will feature almost a thousand more Cuda Cores than even the 780 Ti so I'm assuming that I can buy a 870 or 880 in the price range of the current 780 and it will blow the 780 out of the water.
EDIT
I currently have a C2D E6600 with an 8600GTS so even if I buy the rest of the parts now when prices go down, the HD 4600 graphics would be about the same as my card now so I could wait a couple of months for Maxwell to come out.
