For my build I would like to have negative case pressure. So I was wondering if a PSU (with the fan mounted down, pulling air into the case) would effect the rest of the case. Does the air go through the PSU and into the rest of the case?

More about : psus effect case pressure

Negative case pressure? I assume you're aware that makes cooling slightly more difficult since the air is less dense, and you'll also find yourself cleaning the dust out of it quite often.

Anyway, to answer your question, no. A bottom-mount PSU pulling air in through the bottom of the case expels the air directly out the back of the case. The PSU air never touches the case air, and therefor never warms anything up.
