Sorry for long post but I'm a noob & I have no idea what to do with my PC

I just bought my PC & built it. It was working great. I did everything I should, I updated all the drivers, updated all the windows updates, got anti-virus, everything.

Then randomly while playing Minecraft (I wanted to test out my PC with games) it was running fine for like an hour, then randomly my screen started flickering, this flickering got worse until there were black bars across my screen and eventually my PC restarted itself.

I booted it back up, and the black bars were there at the windows login screen. Then it blue screened after getting to the desktop.

the message said something i could only get the beginning:
*** STOP: 0xA0000001

I think it's my GPU or GPU drivers or something, because one time, i was on the desktop and a message said "AMD catalyst drivers stopped responding" and after it said that, the screen no longer had black bars.

I checked ALL the connections, my monitor works fine, i even played xbox on my monitor, I went into my bios & it said the CPU voltage was all good, CPU temp was ok, MoBo temp was okay, everything looked fine, this was RIGHT AFTER it crashed when I checked the temps & stuff.

Also, it seems to work perfectly on BIOS but as soon as windows boots up, it starts doing this whole thing where random patches of different colors pixels flash on my screen, happens every like 5 minutes or so.

I went in & unistalled my GPU drivers & reinstalled them from the GPU's driver disc, and it seems to be working a lot better, it still does the strange flickering every 5 minutes or so, but it hasn't blue-screened or rebooted itself yet.

SHORTER VERSION:

My PC is doing weird flickery things where groups of pixels flash on my screen, and sometimes it reboots itself & also blue screens (blue screen message: *** STOP: 0xA0000001). After uninstalling & reinstalling graphics drivers, it works a lot better, but still not 100%

What should I do? Like I said I updated everything, my MoBo, my GPU, windows, and it was working fine, I played minecraft for an hour & it held from a 45FPS to a 60FPS for about an hour, then just crapped out.

SYSTEM SPECS:

CPU: AMD FX 8320
MOBO: Asus M5a99x EVO r2.0
GPU: Gigabyte R9 270x
RAM: G Skill 8GB 1600MHz
PSU: Corsair 600 watt PSU (builder series)
HDD: WD 1TB HDD
OS: windows 7 64 bit

Solution
Try upgrading the BIOS to a newer version, if available. See if still the same.
It looks like a driver issue. Try contacting Gigabyte support (for the GPU). See what they say.

Thank you very much, I will try to download a BIOS driver from Asus & see if that helps, though my internet is slow at my house right now, may take a while.
