2tb sata not accessible/enter new not broken

2 days old 2tb sata. suddenly It wouldnt appear, i went in disc management tried setting drive letter, it shows up as ghost/cannot enter, then i tried initiate it there not format!! same thing. Now it says raw.

How do i make it appear? win7 want files back

go to my computer, right click on the icon and click manage (you need admin privileges).
A new screen should open, go to Disk Management on the left had side
There you will find all the info you need on all the disks connected to your PC.
you need to create a new simple volume to it, go through that wizard and you should have it.
If that doesn't work try updating any controller drivers.

On the motherboard and the HDD there are controller for the sata ports. Eg a marvel controller. Sometimes they need to be updated, just go to your HDD manufacturers web site and see if there are nay updates, also update your mobo's chipset.

Update: Ive installed some drivers. Nothing really happened, i also changed sata bios controller settings. It said installing hardware (green button right corner).

Then it comes up "this harddrive must be formattted to be used"

The hdd itself is 2tb western d (wd) green. WD20EZRX

When I run getdataback it finds all my files on it. What i worry is that when i iniated it, or I made a new volume something got messed up but i did NOT format anything

I would in this case, back everything you want up using that software off the HDD and put it onto an external HDD or USB. Then format the WD 2TB HDD using windows disk manager. Not the easiest solution but that's what i would do.
