Gaming computer ram

I'm currently about to buy my parts for a gaming pc, but I am trying to minimize the cost as much as possible. I was wondering if I could just re-use the ram in my current computer and use it in my new one. The ram I am using right now is only 6 gb and is low quality/non name brand. Thoughts?

There is no problem reusing that ram as a temporary mesure, you just have to make sure it is DDR3ram, i supose we are talking 2x2x2gb.
There should be no problem using it.
Altough i would sugest changing it latter to 8gb of a good brand.
