MSI Z77A-G45 vs AsRock z77 Extreme 4 for 3570k OC?

So. I am currently stuck between the two said motherboards, plan is to do some overclocking to about 4.2-4.5 ghz, of course depending on how good the individual chipset will be.

I really like the looks of the Z77A-G45 gaming as it fits my CM storm enforcer case really well due to my fans being red too.

I am planning to use H80I as h100i doesn't appear to fit into the case, if that's a bad idea then most likely will go with Noctua nh d-14.

Anyway, what are the main differences between the boards when it comes to having stable clocks?

AsRock z77 Extreme 4 is by far the superior motherboard.

Instead of getting the H80i, get a large air cooler that will perform better.
  2. Alright, thanks! Do you have any suggestions of which air cooler would best fit the case?

Or is the Noctua DH - d14 the ultimate solution all around?

Well its one of the best and well priced. So that would be a good option.
