Im trying to replace my Radeon 6900(series). card is 2 years old and giving verticle lines and crashing. i am unable to resolve. I plan to RMA (and sell on ebay?) but would like advice on a replacement for my Asus P8P67 LE. It is mostly for playing WoW. I am looking for blackfriday deals so budget is currenlty $225 ish but not looking to blow it all if there is something good for $150 somewhere. I want a HD card for my HD monitor that stresses WoW well. i hope this is enough info.
my concerns, this is my first Radeon (Nvidia fan boy prior) so not sure if they are more prone to problems than Nvidia or just my badluck (or something i did?). PLUS i cannot deal with another card that sounds like I have weird Al reving a moped in my case every 30 seconds. This was by far teh loudest thing in my case and was incredibly annoying. im sure this has something to do with the verticle lines (over heating?) but the card always sounded this bad for the past 2 years. horrible.
