Will my TX650M (v1 version) handle an i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz, an HD 7970 GHz Edition, 3 hard drives and 3 case fans? The capacitors are pratically new, since I got this PSU only a year and a half ago, but I'm still concerned. And what about a 280x or a 290x instead of the 7970 ghz, will those two also run without any problems?
Thanks

It will run your system with any of those graphics cards just fine. Very rarely does a single GPU system even pull 500W at full load and that setup should only pull about 400W at load so that PSU will be fine.

i have a TX650M in one of my PCs with a similar set up (2500k, 560ti, 2 HDD, 5 fans) and have never had an issue with it since the PSU came out (i got it on launch). the PSU's 105c rated Japanese caps should outlast your video card so you have nothing to worry about.

P.S. during gaming you won't even break 450w with the 290x while the AMD 7970 won't even break 375w total system power while gaming.
