Hey,
I'm currently building my first gaming rig (just coming from consoles aha) and just wanted help on my components in the rig, if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to state them. I want to keep the price under $1100 (AUD), but I want this rig to run all the latest games at a decent frame rate.
Parts are as following:
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570k 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor - $262
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler - $39
Motherboard - MSI Z77A-G45 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard - $135
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - $99
Storage - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive - $67
Graphics Card - XFX Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card -$279
Case - Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 - $115
Power Supply - XFX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply - $105
TOTAL: $1101

Yeah that's all my current components, please leave any feedback and suggestions below.
Thank You,
Jack.

Did you plan on overclocking your cpu or gpu?

Okay, so grab an i5 3570k, as opposed to a regular 3570. The K series processors have unlocked multipliers, allowing for convenient and safer overclocking.

Also, aim for at least a 750W psu if you're overclocking. What you have selected will do the trick, but it doesn't hurt to have some extra headroom to work with.
