I'm planning on building a pc for gaming and school work within the next 2 months or so. I've been looking into things for a while and I've come up with this build:

The only thing I'm not so sure about is the motherboard. How will this one perform down the road if I plan to overclock or upgrade the CPU? Also should I go for a modular PSU?

One last thing, I'm going to look at monitors in store later today. I was thinking maybe a 27 inch IPS but I may go down to 24 for space reasons. Any suggestions there?

The board will be fine, but it would be nice to have a little more info such as budget, will you overclock, plans for sli or upgraded card later, etc.

While the build itself is perfectly functional, there are areas I would change based on personal experience and opinion.

If you can give us a little more info, we can try to help.

I'm trying to keep the build around $1200 including the monitor, but I would consider going a little more if it's really worthwhile. In terms of future upgrades I don't really have any plans. I figure once I start to notice performance dipping down the road I would purchase a CPU cooler and start to overclock and either pick up a second gtx 760 or a single better card, whatever makes more sense at the time.

Let me know if there's any other specific info that can help.

Also, should I be looking for black friday/ cyber monday deals for these components? Ideally I'd like to wait until I start my new job and have some money flowing in before I start buying, but if there's a really good deal I should probably jump on it.

Thanks for the feedback.
