Is 430W Enough For This Build???

I would go no less than 500 watts for your build, maybe even 600watts. 8 cores and a dedicated graphics card will require quite a bit of power. Also considering capacitor aging, a 430watt PSU might work fine for a little while, but over time will lose its ability to power your components. Ideally, you'll want to calculate the average wattage your components will use, then get a PSU with 20% more wattage than that. To find out, google "power supply calculator" and get an idea of what you'll need.

It's marginal, but it should be ok if you don't overclock. The 7870 needs ~175w at load and the psu only has a 32a rail and the gpu will use almost half of that. If it were me, I'd bump it up to something along the lines of a CX500M.

The psu is the LAST thing to skimp on - if it goes, it may also take the cpu, m/b, gpu, etc. A good psu is cheap insurance.

I agree Might as well jump to a corsair 600, you can find them for a decent price if you look around. I found my fully modular 550w for 60 bucks new.

trust me in the future youll want to add a higher end gpu and overclock or add another 7870 and you wont be able to.

spend the money now while all the sales are going on and jump to atleast a 600w. I've seen my 750w seasonic for like 70-75 after rebates
