Hey,

I got 2 questions about EVGA's GTX 760 Versions.
What is the difference and what should i purchase?

-EVGA GTX 760 ACX Superclocked 2GB GDDR5. (421.54$)
Or
-EVGA GTX 760 ACX 2GB GDDR5. (381.94$)

I just want to purchase a good video card for games like BF4, GTA V.
For now i'll be getting BF4 and i want to know if there's a big difference between the cards above ^^.
The first one: 421.54$
760 Superclocked=
1072MHz base clock.
1137MHz boost clock.
102.9GT/s Texture Fill Rate

The second one: 381.94$
Regular 760=
980 MHz Base Clock.
1033 MHz Boost Clock.
94.1GT/s Texture Fill Rate.

The first one which is the SuperClocked version costs like 35$ dollars more, and i don't want to waste my money.

Real question is, what should i purchase? will they perform pretty much the same on BF4?

Thanks in advance.

While there's always a silicon lottery with most PC parts, thanks to Nvidia's GPU Boost stuff I've had my stock 760s running at 1150Mhz each. Stock, the cheapest ones.

The performance gains in Texture Fill Rate would be based on the memory clock, which can be overclocked. If it's the same card, no point buying the OC version, as overclocks can be done manually, or with Nvidia cards, you don't even have to do anything.

Regarding what I've said about stock cards, it's probably best to look for a card with custom cooling as it is. I haven't seen what the heatsinks on the EVGA cards look like, but if they're anything like the stock 760 ones, then they're crap.

I'd still recommend a card with a third party cooler, such as the Windforce, the DCUII or Twin Frozr coolers on, you'll probably get an even better overclock with them.

Damn, now i saw that the AMD 280X 3GB is stronger than the GTX 760 and it's the same price.
I don't know what to get... personally i don't like AMD but eh'...
swings and roundabouts.
