Hi Everybody I'm new to Tom's Hardware forums but have been reading your posts and suggestions for years. I have currently just bought a new system but I have not yet installed it as I would like to get some input to see if my power supply unit that I have now is good enough for this new build. I know from reading a lot on forums that this is probably the most important component for my new build so before I go ahead and install everything I want to make 100% sure. So this is were I turn to you guys for your professional opinion and on that note this my new build!

Cpu -> AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W

Motherboard -> ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

Memory/Ram ->G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM 1866 (PC3 14900)

Video Card -> ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0

Hard Drive -> SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC (SSD)

And this my power supply that I have now currently installed in my old system and was wondering if it's enough for this new build?

Psu -> Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W Modular 80Plus

I would really appreciate some advice and some input so Thank you in advance!!! and I hope to find a solution.

All the best!

750 watt PSU recommendation is for generic "unknown" quality brand..
Real world app total power consumption less than 400 watt in stressed mode..

For a system like this:

note that an overclocked intel system..

The power consumption while gaming is:

and while you put your card in full stressed mode:

so, 700 watt is more than enough..and you still have plenty headroom...

good combination..
About psu, well, SilentPro is the only recommended series from coolermaster
it's decent, and with 700 watt, you have a plenty headroom for overclocking, more gadget (hdd, fans, soundcard etc etc) , even add second graphic card..

There's nothing have to worry.
