So, I am planning on building A gaming desktop over the holidays. I would like to be able to transport it in a backpack, just because I prefer the look of one over a carrying case. I will be ordering a Corsair Obsidian 350D, which is 17.7" x 8.3" x 17.3". I'm fully aware that I should've gone with a smaller case if I want it to be more portable, but the 350D is a good fit, since its neither huge, like a full tower case, or extremely small, such as a mini ITX case. I do not have a solid budget, but I'm looking to spend, at most, around 80 USD. If no one can find a backpack that can hold the 350D, what are some discreet and well made carrying cases that I should check out? All ideas are taken into consideration and any help is appreciated :D

Take a look at standard luggage, and then fit one of the right size with foam blocks. Another option is a carrying strap. Those I have seen.

+1, find the dimensions of the case and find a roller bag or some other piece of luggage that is a bit larger on all dimensions, then buy some speaker or crafting foam and fill the compartment, measure out some lines reference lines and carve out a block of it in the dimensions of your case.

I'm looking at luggage, but I just can't see rolling a 20" x 40" bag around whenever I need to move my desktop as practical. As for a carrying strap, that's another possibility, but I'm having a hard time finding specific items that would work with my case. Do you know of any brands that make quality carrying straps?

To me that is the most practical, you don't have to get a roller case but why not, lift up PC, place in foam, place foam top piece, zip zippers, carry bag off lol, little chance of damage and it's tailor made to your PC. It's not as though regularly moving your desktop is practical in the first place. I don't know of any better alternative, maybe iceclock has some recommendations.

I'm actually toying with creating a suitcase for this purpose, the hard part is getting a patent for the device and getting a prototype made.

there are mini cube cases that are made for being transported for lan gaming purposes that hold mini itx and micro atx motherboards. these cases have a hidden carrying handle on the front. and can be had for under $80 if you look around.
