there you go, this is the best bang for the buck build I can get you, but feel free to change the OS and the network adapter and to slap a DVD burner like you did before :)

Do you plan to overclock this? The liquid cooling is OTT unless you plan to push it hard and you can easily save a decent amount on that mobo and RAM.

However the SSD is not the best choice from what I've heard and you could do with improving your CPU, GPU and probably better off getting a separate case and PSU rather than a case with a cheap PSU included.

So, what's the system for and do you plan to overclock?

Here's a suggestion (above). You can go off and find a better case now - just need to make sure it has some fans and it fits your cooler. Hopefully someone more experienced than me can help ratify or fine-tune.

EDIT - just seen your revised list...good tweaks and you found some nice deals. If you can stretch slightly more on budget then a better PSU would be good (another $15-£20 probably) but you're in much better shape now than your first draft - well done.

Yep, what Francisco said. But something appears to have gone wrong redstone - your latest appears to have gone back to the FX4300. And for some reason my link appears to have stopped working...a little bizarre. Do you want to edit and repost? And don't worry about "all the editing", you're doing the right thing and that's what the forum is here for - I've had loads of help in the past on this forum.

BRO STOP! DON'T BUY THE PC YET!
There are rumors that NCIX is going to have an FX-8320 and Asus M5A99X bundle for $200 starting on Black Friday!
So the best thing to do is wait to see if it is really true, because if it is, that's gonna be a massive improvement over the current build.

Nice! Fingers crossed for you on that one. If not, you've still got a really nice build there for the budget - well done guys.

Why did you switch your GPU?
