Hey guys I just built my own computer this last summer and have really enjoyed it so far. I've been playing a few games recently (Skyrim, AC4, LoL) and have noticed that every couple days my machine blue screens and talks about memory dump blah blah blah. I tried running some repairs (CCleaner, Wise Care 365, and Glary Utilities 4) but then I ran PerformanceTest 8.0. most things looked okay, but my memory was way down. I have 1 stick of "Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model BLS8G3D1609ES2LX0." Here is the picture of the performance test

. Anyway I was hoping to figure out what is wrong with my RAM and what I should do about it. Thanks for the help.

if you just have a single stick it will be slower than a 2x8gb setup since it won't be dual channel with a single stick. however if you are getting a blue screen you likely don't have something right in the memory settings, if everything is setup properly and functioning right a blue screen should nearly never happen (I've had zero on my current build other than when I was trying to find the OC limits of my memory)
