how do i make sure my new motherboard usb slots match my case?

Solution
Motherboards come with an I/O panel. All you will do is pop out the old one and insert the new one. Go to the back of your case and see if you can remove the I/O shield.

You shouldn't have a problem, but from looking at one online, it looks like the 660 has a removable rear bezel. Your new motherboard will come with one that should snap right in place. Over the years they have standardized the size of the rear opening, so you should be fine.
