620W PSU enough?

Seasonic M12II 620W (Bronze).

Will it be enough for my setup? Modular cables too, would help a lot without me cluttering the mATX case.

Asus Z87 Gryphon, Intel i5 4670k, Gigabyte R9 280X 3GB WF OC + lots of case fans, H2O cooling (H100 push/pull for CPU) in the future and CPU/GPU overclock.

Not planning on doing dual GPU's since, I'm not gaming on a huge TV/Monitor/Multi-monitor, and not very ambitious about 3D. Maybe when Oculus Rift hits the market.

And is the PSU Haswell compatible?

Or should I go with something that has a little more beef (also pricier) like
OCZ Fatal1ty 750W (Bronze).

I don't really mind the red LED.

If you are going to overclock the GPU and CPU, then you will need a more powerful PSU (700 - 750W). The one you have will do for what you have without OC. Also it is Haswell compatible.

For a single 280X? The Seasonic is fine even with as much overclocking as you want to do.

How about a OCZ ZT Series 750W? Seems like good choice.

Tier 2 PSU, modular, Bronze certified.

@anort3, but under stress the PSU might be "noisy" whereas a lesser pumped up PSU wouldn't be as loud. As I said, I would be overclocking, and the OCZ PSU gives a 5yr warranty, so that's also nice. It is a little bit more expensive than the Seasonic 620W, but just as good. 750W seems a better solution.

Not ready on picking a solution just yet.

Decent enough PSU and the extra power will help with your OC without getting too close to power limit.

But is it Haswell compatible? From what I've heard (shoot me if I'm wrong) that some PSU's aren't really friendly with Haswell CPU's?

EDIT: Nevermind, it's compatible... No hollow points, please

Don't worry, you can still pick up some good buys online ( sometimes through Amazon). Once you have decided what you are looking for, check the local sites for the best deals - especially near Christmas, a lot of online dealers are looking to shift stock.

I'll probably go with the OCZ ZT 750W. Good price and modular.

Thnx for the input. I was contemplated on which would be better.
