I've overclocked my AMD Phenom II x6 1090T 3.2GHz to 3.8GHz, but this required a voltage of 1.5. I've tested everything below, but 1.5 seems to be the sweet spot. (no errors when stress testing).

I tested my CPU in prime95 for hours (no errors), in OCCT (no errors) and Linx (no errors). CPU-Z mostly states a voltage of 1.44/1.45 and OCCT showed a min voltage of 1.36 and max of 1.46.

Is the voltage too high or am I ok? Also, why does OCCT and CPU-Z show a much lower voltage then the one I set in the bios, is this normal?

1.5 sounds a bit too high.

I would try to keep it under 1.45 max for a 24/7 OC.

(My 1045t was overclocked to 3.4 with 1.344v. It needed 1.424v for 3.5 so I left it at 3.4)

For some reason it has errors on 1.45 voltage, I don't know why, my motherboard might be the problem (some people mentioned that old motherboards have trouble keeping stable at lower voltages when OCing). My motherboard model is M4A88T-M.

Also, my computer is mostly on for 10/12 hours and then turned of for 12/14 hours.
