My computer will randomly shut down on me after it starts up and Im at the login screen.
It will also randomly shutdown when im watching youtube videos as well.
It only happens when i raise the ghz of my cpu above 4.0
before these problems started happening i could rasie it up to 4.4 no problem
the problems started when the wifi password changed and my wireless receiver could no longer connect to the internet, even when the right password was put in, at least that was the first i noticed it
Ive tired CHKDSK and completely reinstalling windows and those also dont work
my build is as follows
amd fx 6300
gtx 660
rosewill hive power supply 600 watt
gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 motherboard
g skill ripjaws 8gb
500 gb western blue harddrive
ive run bluescrren view and it has hal.dll in red
the bugcheck was
0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffe0000242f518, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)
for one time and 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffe00002327028, 0x00000000b6000000, 0x0000000000100153) for another
as far as software goes i have limited knowledge
