Hello everyone and today I ask you guys if my 750w power supply can power 2 7970's in crossfire. I know my power supply can do it because it is 12V and has 750w but at the back of the power supply it only has 3 PCI power connectors. Meaning should I use a split connector to power the second 7970. I am sorry if this sounds confusing but if you guys can help that would be great. Thanks !

Might be cutting it close, they recommend at least 500w for one and generally you want your PSU to have the proper amount of connectors for your situation. So if it requires 2 8-pin connectors per card, your PSU should have 4 PCI ports, that's just the rule I've been told to follow.

The link you posted indicates the psu has 4 6+2 pin PCI-e connectors. Two 7970's on that particular supply is marginal at best - those cards are power hungry and will almost certainly max out your psu. I personally would NOT xfire 7970's on that psu, but YMMV.

Ahh yes, good catch, I would agree that you would be cutting it extremely close.
