EVO 212 Install Question

I installed my EVO 212 successfully (I think). My one concern was when putting the X bracket on, the holes did not quite line up depth wise. I had to get one side of the thread started, and then use a moderate amount of force to get the other screw started. I did this for both pieces of the X bar. Is there any chance I damaged my motherboard or CPU? If it is on too tight, will it restrict cooling or restrict functionality of the CPU or anything? I only need to know because I am debating taking the bracket off and putting it on looser. If I need to do this can I do it in the case?

Solution
Its fine, I recently installed one and it had the same issue. It's just hard to get the screw started, but other then that, the bracket is putting the correct amount of pressure.

Okay thanks. Did you screw the screws all the way down? I would refer to the manual, but it seems to be written in a dead language. Also I see that you have a HAF 932. Is it the Advanced? And did the nuts that hold the backplate on almost touch your case? I only ask because I have the same case and was worried about this.

I did not install it for myself, and I have the original Haf 932 case :p.

yes you have to screw it all the way. There are springs on the screws that prevent you from over-tightening.

The installation I did was on an AM3+ board the nuts were not touching the case. what socket are you installing it on?
