I'm trying to connect a Windows 8 hard drive to a Windows 7 computer so I can get at my files. I've tried using a USB to IDE/SATA cable adapter, but it won't read it. It will read a Vista drive though. Is there another adapter that will work with Windows 8, or will it only work if both OS are Windows 8?
