I'm looking to upgrade my GPU for black friday (doesn't necessarily have to be on sale) but, I am concerned about my PSU. My PSU is an Antec 550W: http://goo.gl/cZ06 which would seem sufficient for most low/mid-range cards, but I'm not good at calculating power consumption.

As you can see, the PSU is modular but unfortunately I lost some of the spare cables and currently only have one 8 pin connector that powers my msi hd 6850. I can probably contact antec for spare cables but, it might take a while toreceive them.

Therefore could anyone recommend me a GPU that would be suitable for my machine (full specs belo) and preferably use a single 8 pin power cable?

PSU: Antec 550W
CPU: AMD Phenom II x 4 970 (3.5ghz)
MB: MSI 760gm-E51
GPU: MSI HD 6850
RAM: Ripjaws Series 8GB 1333

(PS Im not interested in OCing)

Solution
Well from personal experience the ASUS DirectCU II GTX 760 uses only a single 8 pin PCI-E power connector, a small compact card that runs fairly cool as well

Though your Phenom will be holding you back in more CPU intensive games, the 760 is still a worthwhile upgrade over the 6850

Seems like a good card for my setup, glad you recommended a Nvidia card to as I wanted to try shadow play.. I would upgrade the cpu, but that would require a new mobo, not something I want to replace right now.
