First at all, this is the first thread I open, so excuse me for any mistakes...

Specs of my system are as followed:

Mainboard: Asus P8Z68-V-LX
CPU: i7-2700k at max 5.2ghz with H80i (fans as intake) + 1 intake and 2 exhaust Cougar pwm fans
GPU: Asus gtx-550ti

I do not want to plan to change my cpu because it is really stable and give the performance I need. I cannot change my board either because in my country Z68 or Z77 chipsets are hard to find anymore. My board has Crossfire support and no SLI, so I thought that I have to choose AMD series Gpu if I need to upgrade my system for the 2. time in future, I can set Crossfire with lower budget. (buying the same card in future)

After some research I found these options:

ASUS R9 270X DIRECTCU II TOP
ASUS HD7870 DIRECTCU II TOP
ASUS HD7950 DIRECTCU II TOP

I would like to know your opinion about my sitiuation. Thank you in advance.

since that 760 is ~13% more in cost and gives ~15%-18% more performance, it's a slightly better buy over the 270X.
i noticed you put in the price of a motherboard. i would suggest using the money towards a better single gpu.

but if you are sure you will be going with a multi-card setup later no matter what then i suggest you look at other options that support x8, x8 PCI-E slots then the deluxe - which is a great board but very expensive. there is a gigabyte z77x-ud3h that caught my attention.

though your motherboard say crossfire support, that other PCI-E slot is x4 if i recall correctly, as with all V-LX/K motherboards. that isn't the most desirable so you might consider sticking with a single card solution.

As you stated the other PCI-E slot is x4. I do not prefer also Crossfire on this board, however I cannot find a better board and I thought maybe in future I could add one more GPU without changing my cpu and board.

Thinking about the under-performance second slot I have to find a way to upgrade the mobo. Thanks for your answer.

Some local stores have currently good deals, so it would be risky to wait for the next sale. That's why I plan to buy the GPU in 3 days. I do not plan spending more than 300$,

Some sale prices to give an idea (I live in Turkey):

ASUS GTX760 DIRECTCU II O.C. 2gb ---> 304$
ASUS R9 270X DIRECTCU II TOP 2gb ---> 269$
Asus I P8Z77-V Deluxe Z77 DDR3 V+S+GL 1155 socket ---> 400$

Thank you for your time and answers. About 270x I get the idea that it is one of refurbished 7000 series, just a new brand name with old componenets. 760 is out of stock in sale, it is a pity actually :( My vote also goes for it.

My cpu is very stable at 4.7 ghz and I decided not to go further. H80i gets better and better after some time. ( Chrome opened with 6-7 tabs temp is around 24. I played CS-Global Offense for 2 hours and logs show an average temp 55.)

I will wait for i7-5 series or whatever it will be named if it would be better than 4770k. My Cinebench R15 score is 815 and around 950 for i7-4770k at 4.7 ghz. ( Also http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,review-32833-5.html suggests at least 3 tiers and mine is at top tier:)) Changing the mobo and cpu would cost me around 800 - 1000$. For a gain around 20% it is not reasonable I think. Changing the mobo with a Z77 would give me a 10% gain depending on componenets. Your suggestion for Gigabyte mobo is ~200$. I decide to add that much to my Gpu if I get a good deal for gtx770. :)

Thank you.
