I'm planning on building a new computer for gaming soon, and I was wondering how many fans I should have in my case.

I'm planning on using Noctua NF-A14 140mm fans everywhere I can and Noctua NF-S12A PWM 120mm fans when I have to ex: the bottom of my case

I would also like to note that I'm using the Corsair H100i CPU cooler, and the Corsair AX860 80+ Platinum Modular Power Supply. (If that makes a difference)

These are the parts I'm going to use:

Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 750D ATX Full Tower Gaming Case

The case comes with 3 x 140mm fans already. You won't need any more fans.

Will the cooling from the stock case fans be sufficient for my build?

Yes, but if you are pro quiet, then i suggest upgrading your fans to lets say a Noctua or a Corsair. But overall stock fans are good just noisy.

If I were to use aftermarket fans, where should they be in the case to create a negative pressure system?

Here is a quick guide. Hopefully this would help you.

Front would be Intakes. Back and top should be Outtakes. :)

After looking at that guide, how do you think this will work for a negative case pressure system. (Following the 1 in/2 out ratio.)

The H100i Radiator in the top slots in push configuration (Exhaust)
2 NF-A14 PWM 140mm fans in the front slots (Intake)
1 NF-A14 PWM 140mm fan in the rear slots (Exhaust)

That seems to be good right there.
I might point out though that you could also change the H100i radiator fans as it also is noisy.

With that i hope you can build your pc the way you want it to build. Goodluck!

Dont forget to pick an answer :) .
