Why above item is so cheap compared to all other SSD?
Is their a catch?. I really don't need a SSD i can live with HDD. But i think for this price it worth a buy.

I don't want to miss if this is a offer and won't be available at this price any sooner.

Typical between 1 November and maybe 10 January. Sometimes only for 24 hours.

If you see something particular you like, at a good price, go for it. It may not be there next week or tomorrow.

These type of price drops are typical in black friday? Or this is once in a life time offer?

I live in Asia.. I don't have idea about US sales.. I have a friend in US so i can ask him to buy and ship it for me. If this type of price drops are normal in every year i can wait for next year as i'm not in a urgent need for an SSD.

It is a special promotion for the Thanksgiving holidays. This coming Friday, which is commonly referred to as Black Friday, marks the start of the Christmas holiday buying season. Retailers have special promotions, sales, and discounts this week. Tiger Direct and several other online retailers are advertising the Seagate 600 for the same low price. You can expect to see several other brands on sale this weekend for a little less than $0.50 per GB.

Here are links to several technical reviews of the Seagate 600:
