How well should this setup work?

I am building a setup mostly for gaming, will this run new releases on high/ultra around 60fps? I have BF4 in mind. Here is the setup:
AMD Fx 8350 4 ghz 8 core processor;
Asus M5a97 L.E. R2.0 ATX Am3 motherboard;
Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4) DDR3-1600 Memory;
Asus Radeon R9 270x 2gb Video card;
Cooler Master Elite 430 ATX mid tower case;
CoolMax 700W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply;
Asus DRW-24F1ST DVD/CD Writer

Also, I have storage already, but should i include a cooler? I found from another source that one wasn't needed with a setup similar to this one.
Thanks!

The cooler in mind was this one: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo 82.9 CFM sleeve bearing CPU cooler

I would suggest getting a fx-8320. It will overclock the same as the fx-8350. In some countries, like US, it sells for $50 less or more. That's a great buy.

RAM, maybe grab 1866 if the price is right.

IF you want to get 60fps in BF4 on Ultra I'd get a 280x. If you are ok with High then maybe 7970. Also, the 280x comes with 3GB VRAM which is really nice.

That case is really bad. Don't get it. I had the Elite 431 plus and it was horrible for cables. Also, the one fan was bad. I had to install 3 new fans to keep it cool.

How about a Corsair PSU?

The 212 Evo is decent. If you get a 8320 you could invest more in the cooler for a better overclock. Thermaltake Frio or Xigmatek Dark Knight II.

I am not really interested in overclocking as of now, but I am thinking of crossfire with two 270x in the future. Do you know what specific PSU you would recommend?

The other option would be going with the 280x and the 8320 and getting a decent cooler to overclock in the future.

Ok, thanks. I think I may stick with the 8350, and 270x, simply because the upgrade route will be easier, for the case I was thinking a Zalman Z11 ATX mid tower. Hmm. I still seem to be stuck on the cooler though? do you have any recommendations? From the reviews that I have read the 212 seems to be a decent cooler for this setup.

Thanks!

This fx-8320 price is insanely low. gotta grab one. 280x is needed for BF4.

Ok, here is my final build:
AMD FX 8350 4ghz 8 core processor
Asus Radeon 280x 3gb video card
Asus m5a97 le r2.0 ATX AM3 mobo
Corsair vengeance 8gb (2x4) ddr3-1600
Cooler master hyper 212 Evo 82.9 CFM
Zalman z11 mid tower case
Same PSU and optical drive as listed above
What do you guys think?

Based on prices I saw, I'd get this one cuz it is made by Seasonic (top manufacturer), semi-modular, and plenty of power. The fx-8xxx series consume more power than a Intel i5, so you need to add some extra wattage. Also, the R9 280x needs at least a 550-600W PSU. But sine you are going AMD you need to add on some. You could get by with a 650W PSU but I found one that I believe is best fit.

If you want to go cheaper and do mild overclock. I think you should be ok with 650W>

It's important to get a good quality PSU cuz it is the most dangerous component that can destroy a system.

Thanks, I think I may go with the corsair, or at least that brand, they seem to have pretty good prices.
