Hey with the Asus grphon Z87 can I crossfire two 7970s reference models. What PCIE slots will i be using?
Will there be a expansion slot between them? Any pictures will be highly appreciated.

Solution
Yes, you can, and you'll be using the 2 shades of Brown Slots. The cards will run at 8x.
There will be one expansion slot in between the cards but it's a 1 x PCIe 2.0 x1 slot, which you may not exactly be using ....

No I wont be using it. I just want to know if there will be one expansion slot on the case in-between the cards, So they could breath and not get to hot.

Yes , there will be.
There will be just enough space between the 2 cards for the upper one to suck in enough air, but it's not going to be One Whole Slot Wide....
The cards are both dual slot wide.... They are going to have a tough time with air, but, a properly placed fan in the case will work wonders.

It’s new Intel CPU time, and with the switch to the LGA1150 socket comes a slew of new motherboards. Today we have an interesting item: the ASUS Z87 GRYPHON mATX motherboard. What makes the GRYPHON interesting is that it’s the first micro-ATX member of ASUS’ TUF family of motherboards. Let’s see if this tiny motherboard can hold up the TUF banner.
