I have a gaming laptop and yesterday, i was playing minecraft when something on my task bar said: "display driver has crashed and has been recovered" and my minecraft crashed. Ive been able to play almost any game on max settings at like 60fps but now any game i play just drops down to 50 then 40 then 30 then 20 and stays there for ten seconds. Every 30 seconds or so it does this. I have a Toshiba Qosmio x70 gaming laptop running windows 8.1 that is only a few months old. I have ran a virus scan and deleted all the infected files. I do not know what to do! Please help!
update: I think windows 8.1 is the problem. Is there any way to fix this?
update: I fixed this problem a long time ago by installing the new Nvidia drivers. Thanks for suggesting it though thebest108!
