actually can someone explain to me better why AC4 seems like my specs go over it and yet i still get bad fps?(fx4100 3.6ghz; radeon 6770(1gb) ;8gb of ram)
*end edit*
basicly i was looking for a good GPU since my radeon 6770(1gb msi) is severely out dated, and i barely get 30 frames in AC4(min settings(except 2 settings))

and i found that card in the above link(Radeon HD 7750 2gb) and for only $105 that seems a near steal from my stand point. am i correct? is that card going to be a noticable boost from my 6770?

and is it my best choice for a MAX $200 budget? the lower i get the price the sooner i can get the card. so thats why im hoping you, the community, can tell me if this card i linked is work 105$.

-thanks for the help, as alway-

p.s should i go to nvidia? i always hear/see people saying things like "oh nvidia is always better" and "the higher price is worth it for how great they are" is that true?(no nvidia fan-boys please)

Solution
Nvidia isn't always better, AMD competes aggressively with power and pricing. Nvidia has some sweet extras such as TXAA support, shadowplay, Physx, etc. but AMD has just as much performance, lower price points, and bundles many popular games with their cards. It's basically boils down to what you want in graphics card, AMD has competitive price and performance, while Nvidia's software/driver/enhancement supports are better.

And no, that 7750 is not a steal, take a look at this:

HD 7850 100 dollars after MIR, THAT is a steal, stronger card (1 whole generation newer than that 7750), sound brand, popular and loved cooler model.

or this...

If you are going that route you should x-fire 7750's they are good little cards I x-fired them myself.

I just saw this

This is a great card the direct cu is one of the best cooling systems you can get. Its definately the best of the under $200 class. It is basically just as good as a 7950 which is $50 more. If I was in the market I would look at this especially considering budget.

If you want to go Nvidia this is the card to get virtually the same as the 7870, but with 2 free games. Gigabyte and Asus make the best GPU's and mobo's. Thats why I keep picking those brands.

Just saw the Nvidia question at the lower level stick with AMD they provide better bag for the buck but when you get up to high mid-high end GPU's Nvidia all the way. I told you I had 2 7750's I upgraded to a 770GTX one of the best decisions of my gaming life.

HD 7870 Ghz edition, 130 dollars after MIR, also a VERY good value for a card of this caliber.

And on the Nvidia side:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125443
A nice gigabyte GTX 660 for a very reasonable 150 dollars after MIR.

Honestly, at 200 dollars you're not going to get much better performance/price outside of these 3 cards, for reference the GTX 660 usually trades blows with the HD 7870 Ghz, Nvidia still has those nice features with them so that may be worth the 20 bucks.

if im correct
steam,"AMD Radeon HD 5850 (1024MB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0)"
is worse then a hd 6770 1gb correct?
