The 7790 will obviously perform better in games, no question. However, the 7790 isn't that great of a video card to begin with.

Here is an AMD 7850 for $129. It is by far faster than the 7790:

The Asus would perform better, which is good because the Sapphire just sold out and Asus is your last option :D

HD 7790 is a better card in paper but I prefer sapphire cards more. There is no problem with Asus eitherway.

A HD 7850 card is definitely a good option as a user advised above it has 256bit architecture so it is a lot better.

How come the HD 7790 isn't that great of a card? I'll look into the HD 7850 though cause it does look good.

If you are serious about gaming then you should get at least an AMD 7850. It has double the memory bus and memory size. For $20 more dollars you really can't go wrong. To me its a no brainer ;)  ... especially for playing demanding games like battlefield and crysis.
