Windows Detected A Hard Disk Problem

Hey, Anyone else seen Windows Vista reporting a Hard Drive problem but when you run a Disk Check there are no errors detected? I dont have much confidence in Vista so I am unsure whether to Trust what Vista is saying, perhaps someone can recommend a decent 3 party tool to check with.

ya got that here . i think somthing was done or going on to get people off vista if you noticed that alot of venders havent wrote a vista driver in awile. like amd dont support vista now but still wrights drivers for xp,7.8.and 8.1 but not vista. last vista vid card from amd was 13.4 i think.

The vista disk check does not check for physical issues, the drive problem message is probably coming from the SMART check the disk does.
I'd replace the drive now, especially if you don't have backups made.

You bring up an interesting point. Our Windows 7 all of a sudden had the windows detected a hard disk problem this month too. I have always wondered if Microsoft sends out some sort of so called patch that takes out hard drives.....

ya i'm seeing it here. bill figures that if your running his ols software your taking money out of his pocket. there in it to sell and make money and you still useing xp or vista is costing them
