Cox cable installed cable modem yesterday and now my Belkin wireless router will not work. I have tried to reset everything but no help. If I run a cable directly from the modem to my iMac I have internet but if I run it through the Belkin it will not work at all Even if I run the cable to the Belkin wireless router and the directly to my iMac it will not work. This router has worked flawlessly for a number of years until this new cox modem was installed. Any ideas??

Yes, multiple times. I have disconnected the power the modem, router, etc. multiple time and restarted them in different orders but still nothing. I even did a factory reset on the wireless router but still nothing. Seems odd that it might go bad at just the same time as the cox modem was installed.

I believe Cox offers modem devices that combine a modem and wireless router in one convenient device. If that is the case then you don't need two routers. You can use the Belkin wireless router as a switch. Do a search on Google for "router as a switch" for instructions.

The cox "thing" is strictly a modem. I have reset the router multiple times, as stated and even pulled it up online and did a factory reset but still have nothing. I will have to get a new router and see if that fixes it.
